Sledding

January 2nd. . . Andi and Shane came up to the cabin, just as the Tews were leaving.  It was fun to play in the snow with friends and cousins.  We learned how to play our new game that night, A Ticket to Ride, and are now addicted.  I don't remember the last time I was up until 3:30
playing a game.  Probably. . . never?
After many snow cave adventures, Shane and Alan started a new project.  They built a sledding track on the side of the rode.  The kids literally went down it all day long.  Bathroom and food breaks were even limited.  They loved it!!!  It doesn't take much to please these little guys.  Although Ryan enjoyed the sledding, it did not take long before he was really wanting to snowboard, so he and Loren got out their boards and "tried"  to jump and maneuver around a bit.  It didn't work out too well, but they were happy and "cool" , and did it anyway.  Ryan kept us all warm by serving us fresh cups of hot chocolate.
