February 13th. . .Valentine's Day celebrations. The kids exchanged their Valentines in their classes, had their parties, and then spent the night with Nana. Alan and I were able to have our own "love fest" by retreating to downtown San Diego for the night. Our hotel room overlooked the Coronado Bay. We beat the crowds by having a pre-Valentines dinner, and were finally able to go see Twilight. (Yes, it was still in two theatres here in San Diego.) In the morning, we went for a walk, and then did some light shopping. (We both needed some new sunglasses.) We returned home to find a "mostly sane" Nana and happy, lovable children. Thanks Nana!
